Hi all you wonderful people out there, trying to get your businesses off the ground, or growing your businesses!

I attended my monthly networking meeting this evening – the Holistic Healing Network Alliance, where a number of coaches and holistic practitioners meet and network. We had a wonderful guided meditation at the beginning of the evening by our leader Jill. It was a wonderful way to lift the energy through the chakras, and create a little vortex of energy to tap into – concept I am still a little new to, but hey, I’m open!

Now what I really wanted to say, is that when we shared about what our intentions for our businesses were, it was interesting to see how few people were actually clear on what they wanted! Have you heard of the Law of Attraction folks!? Well, the universe provides what you ask for, but you have to be really clear about what it is that you want! If you have a fuzzy idea … well you will get cotton wool back! Creating a vision for your business is key to creating success, whatever that might mean to you! This vision can change over time, but its important to start with some clear intentions or focus on what you are trying to create!

I recommend Michael Losier’s book The Law of Attraction, if you would like to find out a bit more, or would like a simplistic view on how to apply this concept. He has some great worksheets on his website to use as exercises.

So know what it is you are shooting for, and if you can’t figure it out, or need some help, get yourself a coach! I do no obligation free consultations, so its an opportunity to investigate and determine whether this is the right step for you. It might make all the the difference!

I have exciting news! I am participating in a Holistic Telesummit, hosted by Lisa Rodriguez. There will be lots of information on health, wellness, vitality, self-care, alternative treatments etc. I will be presenting too! Look out for ‘Creating Balance while Conceiving Life’ – where I will discuss from a coach’s perspective, how we can support ourselves while going through the journey of conceiving through traditional, and ’non-traditional’ means in a way that will create balance, and serenity while going through a possibly stressful process. So that individuals going through the fertility process, will have a great platform to work from, and increase their chance of success!

The Money Footprint our parents leave behind!

Have you ever asked yourself what your views really are on money? Some of us even have a physical re-action to the word ‘money’! As a child, did you ever hear the some of these phrases: ‘ money doesn’t grow on trees’, ‘ do I look like Rockefeller?’, ‘what am I? made of money?‘ Or do beliefs such as these ring a bell for you….? ‘ To be rich, you have to use people and take advantage of them’, or ‘If I really strive for wealth and don’t succeed, I’ll feel like a failure’ or ‘Striving for wealth won’t allow much time for anything else in life’ or ‘Getting rich takes too much work and struggle’. There are so many more of these (attend Millionaire Mind Intensive to find out! more about this later) and believe it or not, pretty much all the statements I have listed were my own! What a shock and surprise to find this out for myself. I always thought I had a pretty healthy view of money! Surprise, surprise. Now all of these thoughts, beliefs and opinions were formed when I was young! Different messages I received in different circumstances eventually came tobe the beliefs that I carry today and didn’t know it, although now I am informed and have created an awareness around these for myself. NowI have a choice!! And I know whats real and what the truth is!

For one thing! If I did well financially in my business, and in doing what I loved, then it would help me to live my mission to assist others in living a life of balance, purpose and joy, when faced with certain life challenges. Just think how big that could get! I could impact the world. So on that note, money doesn’t seem so ‘evil’ any more. If it means I can set up a fund in South Africa to create self-sustaining communities in rural areas, and provide much needed medicine especially to those infected by HIV, money doesn’t seem to have that ‘stigma’ attached to it anymore. I welcome my success, and I hope to help a lot of people by being successful, and on my road to success!!!

The key point here, is to know what your beliefs are! Once you know what they are you are in a unique position to do something about them! You have a choice on your attitude, and how it will affect everything you do! In my next post, I will tell you about the ‘Millionaire Minds Intensive’ which will help you do exactly that!
