Dr David Simon truly was a guiding light to the alternative therapy field in the vast majority of his life. His son Max Simon has become a big part of our coaching and healing community and continues to shine his light, as part of the legacy his father leaves.

His influence in melding Western medicine together with Eastern philosophies and alternative therapies has been hugely impactful. He started his work beyond his allopathic focus, in particular with meditation (way back when it was almost blasphemy to admit it out in the open in front of his peers) and how this could influence one’s health and wellbeing.

He will be sorely missed. However his spirit will continue to spread peace, harmony, love and healing.

I’ve recognised when I moved to the US 7 years ago, that everything had sugar in it, even the bread. It was a bit of a shock to my poor body, and immediately I started putting on weight. Eventually our taste buds adjust, but of course thats not always a good thing, when you want to avoid eating something like sugar.

I probably don’t need to spell out to you, what you already know! …That obesity is one of the main causes of death in the US, and leads to diabetes, heart failure and so on. And the kids… well don’t get me started.

Its up to us to educate ourselves and pass that information on to the next generation and our clients. And, if we make a big enough noise, which thankfully is starting to happen, we can get corporations and school canteens to sit up and pay attention to the well being of our society.  I love what Jamie Oliver is doing in the school systems here and in the UK!

From a spiritual stand point, we are damaging the vessel that houses our spirit in this current life time. When we consider the body the temple that houses our spirit, being aware of how we are treating that temple, puts a different spin on it. So lets take a step to honor our ‘temple’.

Is your mind cluttered?

If you want to work on identifying obstacles that you’re creating without even realising it and want  different and more impactful results in your life and/or business , consider working with a coach!  And yes, even coaches work with a coach, as we often can’t see what we’re blinkered about in our own lives and business. A coach partners with you and sees the obstacles really clearly when we often have blinkers on around those things, habits or beliefs that are holding us back, thinking if we just keep trying, we will eventually be successful. I am so excited!   My friend and colleague Michelle Schubnel, owner and CEO of Coach and Grow R.I.C.H.  is doing her normal 1 day in-person workshop as a 8 week program by teleclass!  It’s called ‘Attract Great Clients & Fill Your Practice Fast‘!     When she held her workshop in NY last year,  I wasn’t able to attend as I was visiting family in Spain, and most of her workshops she runs are in San Fransisco!  so the universe is now lining up for me to attend now!
