I Love ‘First’s’ !

by Louise Crooks on January 26th, 2010

What are you doing to stretch yourself, to help you grow and blossom into the message you really want to get out there!?  Mmmm interesting question!   It can be really easy as a business owner to fall into a rut doing things a certain way (and in our personal lives too!) and just get comfortable, not stretching ourselves.   Thats where I love First’s!  What do I mean by that?  Well, I like to challenge myself to learn or do something new that I have never done before at least once a month – personally or professionally.  And when I do that, I get to be really excited about what I’m doing, and start doing something that speaks to my audience or my clients or my friends in a different way than before!  Sometimes its uncomfortable and scary, but as you push through the fears, and just allow yourself to play and explore, the possibilities that result can be enormous!  And you get to be excited about life!!  As part of standing out in your field so your clients will find you first, its important to try new technologies or ways of meeting your target audience or connecting in a different way.   I wanted to share one of my ‘first’s’ with you!   I made a video for the first time, and I really hope you enjoy it.  It will be the first of many in way to connect with you in a more personal way.  Let me know what you think!  And before you watch it, ask yourself what can you do today (or tomorrow) that will stretch you, or that you would like to try, something even that you’ve been thinking about doing for a long time – maybe being interviewed on  radio show, or going skydiving!  The world truly is your oyster.

Psssst!  I encourage you to give it a shot!  I did it through an awesome website called www.onetruemedia.com  Have fun!
