5 Tips to Stay Focussed and In Flow

by Louise Crooks

Wouldn’t it be lovely if we could constantly feel in flow? The truth is that most of the time it’s not often the way we feel. And that flow only comes in fits and starts.

As we move into the last quarter of the year, when time is precious and we want to make the most of it in our business – being in flow is really important. Wouldn’t you agree?

I’m looking at this for myself at the moment especially because not only am I dealing with the normal challenges of stepping into that energy, but because migraines are playing a big part and affecting my energy. If you have a chronic condition you might be asking the same thing.
I’m asking how can I support myself to be in flow most of the time, as well as taking care of myself to keep that energy in flow. I want to do a lot by the end of the year, so this is really important!

Many are focusing on getting new clients, or working on projects in our businesses. And it’s important to stay focused and clear and in that level of vibration.

Here are few simple suggestions to help you do that:

  • Make sure you have a schedule, and are planning out the time dedicated to these activities. Without it, your attention will not go where you intend it to.
  • Make sure to schedule in time to relax = passive and active. (e.g. meditation and bowling)
  • Eat that frog (see fun Brian Tracy video!) – do the difficult or uninspiring things first and get them out of the way.
  • Ask yourself what would help you to feel inspired when you’re wanting to be in flow. Is it music, connection with others, reminding yourself of your value…you decide.
  • Create an environment to work in that feels good – perhaps it’s clearing up your office, or going to the library to work, or putting a bunch of flowers on your desk – you decide.
